Let's Pretend!
Holden "pretended" for the first time tonight! She was playing with an empty container, and started putting her hand in, picking something up, and putting it in her mouth. So we asked for some so she would hand us whatever pretend "snack" she was imagining. Dixie wanted in on all the goods, and just didn't understand why she wasn't getting any real food!

18 Months
These aren't the most exciting pictures... just a few randoms I had saved. But I wanted to post her 18 month stats and couldn't do it without pictures!
Height: 31" (25%)
Weight: 24.4 lbs (50%)
Head Circumference: 46.2 cm (doesn't give a percentage, but I'm sure it's at the high end!)
See n' Say
Holden just re-discovered this See n' Say we've had forever. She'd like for us to pull the lever for her, but she just sat down and figured it out herself! She's really into animals and their sounds right now.
Goin' Fishing
We stopped by Hickory again on our way home from the Greenbrier to pick up Dixie, and ended up staying the night to 'recover' from the night before when Holden decided to stay up all night!
Turns out Holden loves fishing! Popi Bud caught a little fish for her to see, and she desperately wanted to catch one of her own... turns out she doesn't have the patience for it just yet :)
Miss WV Pageant
We spent the week at the Greenbrier due to the Miss WV Pageant. My little brother Dave is the drummer in the house band and my mom has been "coaching" some of our local contestants for a few years now. Our good family friend is also the director of the show so it's a real family affair. The production was so fun and entertaining and the band sounded amazing! We had high hopes for our favorite local girl, and she ended up getting 1st runner-up!
Holden loved the shows, they're full of music and dancing and lights, so she was totally amazed.
