January Babies

Holden shares her birthday month with two of her favorites, her Aunt Sarah and my best friend Carmin :-) We were lucky enough to spend some time with Carmin and her family to celebrate and Holden loves playing with Carmin's two nieces. Most of the photos are courtesy of Keegan!

Bits of Walking

First Boo-Boo

Holden is getting much better and braver with the walking, talking 3-4 steps at a time pretty regularly. Unfortunately that means she's still very unsteady, so we got a call Tuesday from daycare to let us know she had fallen into a chair. Her nose bled a good bit, but there was really very little wrong... just happens with a face wound like that. She was spoiled all night and got some Tylenol before bedtime.

You can barely even see the mark under her nose, but it's there :(

Happy Giraffe

Holden and went to brunch with Carmin, Bo, and Hayden Saturday. Holden wore the Adorable giraffe outfit Carmin got her for her birthday. They had a great time making each other laugh and learning lots of new tricks!

Cabin Fever

While I loved having 2 snow days to stay at home with Holden, by the end of a 4-day weekend we were all getting a bit of cabin fever. The play room looked like it exploded, but it finally took every last one of her toys to stay entertained while I tried to do what work I could from home!

Snow!

We had a bit of a snow storm yesterday, so we've had 2 days now snowed in! We took Holden out yesterday, but I don't think she was terribly impressed. She kept looking at me with a very concerned expression...

Celebrating with the Powers

We enjoyed our time celebrating with the Powers family! With Holden now old enough to interact with them more, it is so much fun watching them all play together.

Christmas Dress

I was missing a few pictures from Uncle Bonn's camera from Christmas. They are all basically the same, she loves playing with and listening to Bonn's guitar. I just love seeing her Christmas dress again :)

More Presents!

Unfortunately Uncle David and Kiersten had to miss the party, but that just meant Holden got to extend her presents even longer! Dave got her a fantastic gift of a Pandora bracelet that he can add charms to for her holidays. About the time she'll be ready/old enough to wear it, it will have lots of charms just for her from her Uncle. :-) She was not letting go of the bracelet or the bag it came in for anyone!

1st Winter Classic

Uncle Bonn had been holding on to Holden's new Caps jersey for quite some time, but it was given to her just in time for her first Winter Classic between the Caps and Pens. Her support helped the Caps to a big win!

1st Birthday Party

Holden had her 1st Birthday party with family today. She had a great time and looked ridiculously cute in her tutu. The presents and Drew's chili and cornbread were a hit with her; she wasn't terribly interested in the cake though!
