Curls & IKEA

Holden's curls in the back are getting cuter and cuter! We were fresh from the bath tonight when they curl up very nicely, so I got some pics of them and of her new table and chairs. I braved IKEA on a Sunday afternoon to get those things... she better use them forever! :-)

Peeps!

A grandmother at work convinced me that I needed to 'introduce' Holden to a Peep... I know she's bound to have one eventually, and figured at least if I do it now she doesn't have much of a memory and/or she doesn't have the words to keep asking for more! Her Easter basket arrived that day as well, so I figured I may as well...

St. Patrick's Day

These pictures were supposed to be for St. Patrick's Day, but instead it's really just of Holden playing with her alphabet game on the iPad... I think her first "word" is going to be A, B, C!

Close Enough

Our cat, Lacey, isn't terribly 'personable'... so while Holden would love nothing more than to carry her around like a doll, Lacey rarely lets her come close enough. She's never once even tried to swipe at Holden, but there's a first for everything :-) This is about as close as they gotten to each other without me or Drew holding one of them for restraint!

My Buddy

Holden loves this dog-thing, it sings and talks back to her and she treats it just like a baby doll. It does the ABC's, colors, body parts, and numbers so hopefully it'll come in useful too!

Baby Doll

I was *trying* to get a cute picture of Holden and her new baby doll...

New Bag

Poppy Bud got Holden a new bag while she stayed with them a few weeks ago. It's a tote bag cooler, so until she's packing her lunches she's decided to store all of her play food in it.

Tricycle

We got out the tricycle Sunday afternoon since we had another gorgeous day. Holden loves to get pushed around and even learned how to ring the bell a bit!

Green River Revival

Aunt Sarah and Chris came to visit this weekend. Since it was going to be a beautiful day - 70s! - we spent Saturday at the US Whitewater Center. They were having a bunch of fun activities to celebrate St Patrick's Day, including dying the river green! The place was packed, everyone was out with their kids and dogs enjoying the awesome day. Holden made a few friends along the way and we took a TON of pictures!
