Queen's Cup Steeplechase

I always have to work at our hospitality tent at Charlotte's Steeplechase event. We decided to go out early with Holden to see the dogs and ponies before my event started. The weather was perfect and Holden had a new dress to wear from her Aunt Sarah! She didn't like sitting on the pony too much... but loved petting it, so we'll just have to work our way to getting her back in the saddle, so to speak.

Out to Dinner

We met at our favorite Italian place for dinner after work on Friday. The weather's perfect right now, so we sat on the patio which had a fountain. While we were waiting for the check, Holden played in it and made sure her Daddy was watching... me too!

Holden loves her Grandparents!

Gigi stayed with us all weekend, then Grandmommie and Popi Bud stopped by on their way home from the beach (Holden Beach, of course)! Holden never disappoints entertaining them all and being the center of - more - attention.

And what was a random purchase in the Wal-Mart Easter aisle, has now become her favorite new thing... her necklace was worn with pajamas, her Easter dress, her onesie immediately after nap, and throughout the rest of the day!

Easter Basket

Holden was so young last year we didn't do an Easter basket, so I was excited to put one together for her this year and she was ready to dig into it! She went right for the Peeps, but it ended up being the little chocolate bunny we had to hide from her. She ended up with a bite of it so we didn't start the day off with a temper tantrum.

We walked into a pet store after lunch today... I'm not sure how we got out of there without a new puppy, bird, and bunny! Holden is definitely not afraid of animals, if anything they should be scared of how much she wants to squeeze them.
