Charlotte Jr Gym

Morgan, one of Holden's friends from school, had her 3rd birthday party at Charlotte Jr Gym, someplace I've been wanting to check out. It was way bigger and had more stuff to play on than most of the other kid gyms we've been too and the kids loved it!

Dance Class!

I signed Holden up for a ballet/tap class! She's shown so much interest in dance lately, I figured why not? We talked about it, visited it the studio, shopped for her clothes... basically had a LOT of buildup and excitement.

Which ultimately led to THIS the night before her first day of class:

That was only about a 6 on the 1-10 scale... she worked herself to about a 9 before finally calming down and just being sad about how upset she was.

So, her first class was today and she did great! There was a little intimidation and just a few tears, but she hung in there and had a great time!

We've since made up from the big blow-out and had a great evening tonight :)

Gifts from Vegas

I brought back a few gifts for Holden from Vegas and I *think* she likes them!

Big Girl Bed

I leave town for a few days... and I come back to Holden refusing to sleep in her crib! I knew we got WAY more time in the crib than normal so it's cool. We switched her crib to the toddler bed version and so far so good! She's very excited about it has understood so far not to get out of bed at night. We'll see :-)

Intense Gaming

Very serious game of UNO happening here :)

New Park & New Lessons

We walked to a new park at the elementary school nearby on a nice day. She had a lot of fun and it gave me the opportunity to talk about NOT touching cats we don't know...

Princess Apps

I bought Holden some princess apps with her christmas gift cards and she's thoroughly enjoying them! Her fave lets you dress up the different princesses, as well as use your own picture to make yourself a princess. You can only imagine which she prefers...
