Pool Party

One of Drew's friends from GMR moved about 30 minutes away from my hometown about a year ago. We've been trying to catch up with them when we visit and it finally worked out last week. We all had fun cooling off in the pool and her son loved throwing the ball in the pool for Dixie.

Poor House Farm

We spent an afternoon at Poor House Farm. Dixie was in dog-heaven running around in the wide open, splashing through the creek. Holden slept the whole time, which gave Bonn, Drew and I plenty of time to talk and walk around.

WV Vacation

1st Mountaineer Game!

Holden went to her first WVU game this past Saturday! She had a very long day, but kept up with everyone and loved it. She couldn't tear her eyes away from the field when we first got there - so much to see! The weather was beautiful, but the sun was right on us so we had to improvise a bit ;-) We only stayed in the stadium for one quarter, then met up with friends at their tailgate spot overlooking the stadium so we could still hear what was going on. Everyone was much happier in the shade! There are a few more pictures of the whole group to come!

Who Knew?

Drew went to Costco and came back with a big package of paper towels. Holden kept reaching for it and thought it was very fun to lay on it for some reason...

Labor Day

We spent most of the day sitting right at the lake :-) A perfect lazy day!

Sink Bath

We spent Labor Day weekend at Drew's mom's new lake house. I forgot a bath seat, but it worked out for the best. Holden loved being in the kitchen sink! I may 'forget' the bath seat every time :-)

For the Uncles

Holden has been having a lot of fun with the tambourine at daycare, so I found a percussion set for her to play with at home. I think her favorite are the eggs, she can shake them pretty easily. The drum sticks are good, but more to chew on at this point :-)

8 Months!

I have no idea why this is sideways and unfortunately you hear me way more than you can hear Holden, but while she shows no interest in crawling she is all about standing!

Gigi's Visit

My mom came down last weekend to visit and to watch Holden while Drew and I went to Carmin and Bo's engagement party. Not a whole lot of pictures taken, but a few cute ones.

The tongue is a new thing... she reminds me of her uncles and their obsession with Michael Jordan!
