School Days

Holden looked like such a little school girl in this outfit. I'm looking forward to more fall weather!

Weird Dinner

One of Holden's favorite things are those mini ears of corn you mainly see in stir-fry dishes. I found a bag of just those and snow peas, though Dixie ended up getting most of those. Holden has learned to throw what she doesn't want onto the floor...

I'm not sure if this was the first time, but Holden (still?) doesn't like mustard :-)

She does like a good corndog though!

She was still hungry so I gave her some yogurt beads/drops/freeze-dried somethings that made an absolute mess, but she loved it!

Family Dinner

We met at our favorite restaurant for a family dinner to celebrate Drew and I's 9 year anniversary! Turns out Holden liked my Puttanesca more than her own meatballs.

Hello!

Lounging Around

Grandpa's Here!

Drew's dad came to visit for the weekend, it'd been since April so it was great to spend some time together again!

Helping Daddy

Evil Kenevil

She runs, jumps, climbs... it's hard to keep up!

Holden Beach Visit

We spent Labor Day weekend at Holden Beach with the family. It was Holden's first visit there this year so she's a lot more grown-up than last time. She loved sitting in the rocking chairs and waving to the boats going by on the Waterway.

We all went out to the beach Saturday morning to play with Holden. She was not a big fan of sand and kept her shoes on the whole time, but eventually got comfortable enough to pick up some shells. She never took to the water though, maybe next time!

The day was pretty full, so Holden let us know when it was time for bed.

Sunday morning was pretty lazy for us, watching the boats and playing. We did get to see Popi Bud come in on his kayak, which Holden couldn't quite figure out.
